New exhibition:

trees at eastgatestudio

I am delighted to be taking part in a new print exhibition at Eastgate Studios in Beverley – the exhibition is titled ‘Trees’, and opened on Saturday.

The poster for the exhibition features my etching ‘Apple Tree’.

I am a member of the Ropewalk Print Workshop in Barton upon Humber; the workshop is known for its open, inclusive and supportive environment, nurturing creativity across the Humber region and beyond.

Each year, the group collaborates on a themed exhibition. For 2026, the theme of trees has inspired a rich and varied collection of original prints. From detailed studies of bark, leaf and texture to more expressive and abstract interpretations of woodland, landscape and growth.

Featuring 26 artists, all with links to the Humber region, the exhibition highlights a wide range of printmaking techniques, from traditional processes to contemporary experimentation. Every piece is hand-printed, reflecting the individual skill, approach and creative voice of each artist.

Paintings

Whilst exploring landscapes across the Humber Estuary and The North Country, Maggie has been building a wide portfolio. The collection has a particular energy which comes from her personal connection with the landscape and in which Maggie involves the viewer.
